Transcrime's Executive Council is composed of eight members from the associated Universities and is the Centre's steering body.
The Executive Council meets on a regular basis. Its tasks are to draft and approve the annual agenda, the draft and definitive budget and any necessary internal regulations. Furthermore, the Executive Council appoints the Executive Director and the Associate Director of Transcrime; upon occasion, it can also establish and nominate the members of commissions or scientific committees.
