Security and safety policies is the curriculum of the new MA in Public policies of the faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Università Cattolica.

Poli-Si (LM-63) trains professionals in the public and private security sector. It is the only criminological MA qualifying graduates to apply for Italian open competitions for Police commissioners.

Focus on Organized crime infiltration in legitimate economies
The new ARIEL project

Transcrime has been awarded, together with the other European universities, project ARIEL (Assessing the Risk of the Infiltration of Organized Crime in EU MSs Legitimate Economies: a Pilot Project in 5 EU Countries). The project, which will be coordinated by Transcrime, aims to develop a methodology to identify the methods used by different organized crime (OC) groups to infiltrate into legitimate economies, and a common risk-assessment model for detecting the infiltration of OC in legitimate economies. Project ARIEL is funded by the European Commission within the programme Prevention of and fight against crime (ISEC).
