International Programme in Crime and Security
Transcrime is the key supporting body of the International Programme in Crime and Security launched in the academic year 2005/06 by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano.

The programme is addressed to students, already in possession of a BA degree, who wish to obtain a Master's degree in Public Policies (Poli-Si) within the framework of the Master's programme in Policies for security and safety of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciencies.
Students who have already obtained a Master's degree can apply for admission to the International Ph.D. in Criminology.

The International Programme in Crime and Security provides high level training regarding crime prevention and control, evaluation and management of public security as well as research in the field of criminology and criminal justice. Transcrime is actively involved in the management of the  Programme and offers students posts as interns and  research assistants.

Security and safety policies is the curriculum of the new MA in Public policies of the faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Università Cattolica.

Poli-Si (LM-63) trains professionals in the public and private security sector. It is the only criminological MA qualifying graduates to apply for Italian open competitions for Police commissioners.

International
Ph.D. in Criminology

The International Ph.D. in criminology offers highly qualified students and professionals an advanced study programme which specialises in criminology, criminal justice and crime prevention.

This Ph.D. programme tends toward the internationalisation of all its activities. The Programme is entirely in English. Each Ph.D. candidate must present a final thesis in English.

The international Ph.D. in criminology is supported by other Italian and foreign universities, including the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (with a convention enabling to obtain the title of Doctor Europeaus).
